This year, I have the privilege of celebrating my 90th birthday.

Living for nine decades on this planet has given me deep perspective. Perspective earned through many different seasons, through watching what endures, what fades, and what quietly sustains a life over time.
At 90, you begin to realize that the most important lessons aren’t learned quickly. They reveal themselves slowly and with clarity, not certainty but understanding. And perhaps the greatest lesson I’ve learned is that health is not a destination, but a lifelong journey shaped by daily choices, shared responsibility, and gratitude for the time we are given.
Health is a Relationship, Not a Resolution
Each new year brings familiar intentions and promises—to reset, restart, or do better. We search for quick answers and dramatic change.
But after nine decades of observing people, families, and communities, I’ve learned that health was never meant to be seasonal. Health is a relationship—built patiently, practiced daily, and shaped over time.

From the very beginning, the Nutrilite brand was built on that same belief. My father, Nutrilite founder Carl Rehnborg, believed that good health begins with restoring what was missing. Nutrition, in his view, wasn’t about extremes or trends. It was about helping the body receive what it needs each day—consistently and completely.
That belief shaped the foundation of Nutrilite. It began with curiosity, observation, and respect for how nutritional science actually works. It wasn’t built in response to what was popular at the time, but on what people genuinely needed.
That foundation still matters today.
A Life of Balance and Consistency
Longevity is often misunderstood as an intense focus on physical health alone. But a life well lived requires a delicate balance of three distinct pillars: work, love, and play.
Over the years, I’ve learned that when one is neglected, or too much focus is on another, the balance slips. But when they’re in harmony, they create a steady foundation for living.
That’s why true progress doesn’t require extremes. Meaningful health doesn’t come from intensity. It comes from consistency.
Because living a long life isn’t just about life span – it’s about health span, which means living more of your years in good health. And when it comes to supporting your health span, the best place to start is with simple, healthy habits.
These small, thoughtful choices made each day lead to habits you can sustain through busy weeks, stressful seasons, and real life. When we focus on consistency instead of perfection, health becomes something we experience every day, not something we chase.
Health is not only about caring for the body. It’s about nurturing relationships, contributing to community, being a thoughtful steward of the planet we share, and finding joy even in simple moments.
Be a Product of the Product
One of the most important principles I always return to is this: Be a product of the product.
That doesn’t mean doing everything perfectly. It means living with intention. Staying curious. Paying attention to your body and its needs. Choosing care over shortcuts.
When health becomes integrated into who you are, not just what you do, it stops feeling like work. It becomes part of your identity.

Looking Forward with Gratitude
As I reflect on 90 years of life, I am deeply grateful. For the people I’ve met, the lessons I’ve learned, and the opportunity to continue this journey together.
My hope is that we continue to approach life with curiosity and intention and remember that well-being is built on healthy daily choices and a lifetime of consistency. We need to take care of those around us and the planet we all share and find joy — even in the simplest moments.
Thank you for being part of this journey with me.
All the best!
